Opening Match For Tonight’s WWE NXT Revealed, More Backstage News

Fightful Select has put together a list of news and notes heading into tonight’s NXT.

The opening contest will be the last-chance women’s Iron Survivor qualifier. It will close with NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez doing a promo. All of the women involved in the Iron Survivor Match are scheduled for the closing segment.

NXT Champion Trick Williams and Ridge Holland are scheduled for a promo segment together while Gigi Dolin (w/ Tatum Paxley) will face Izzy Dame in the only unannounced match.

Oba Femi is not listed for tonight’s show, and they haven’t heard of him being backstage.

It was said that there was another high-profile name originally discussed for this week’s NXT, but plans fell through.
