Samoa Joe is medically cleared and will be back in action on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, as announced by Tony Khan. The AEW President posted a video to Twitter before tonight’s show in which he confirmed that the former AEW World Champion is good to go and will be competing on tonight’s show.
Khan did not mention who Samoa Joe would be competing against. Joe has been out of action since he faced Mike Bailey in January. He was announced the next week as having suffered a non-contact injury in training, which was reported to have placed him in concussion protocol. Joe noted in early March that he would be back “sooner than later.”
Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite takes place from the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon and airs live on TBS and HBO Max. The lineup is:
* AEW World Championship Match: Darby Allin vs. Tommaso Ciampa.
* Mina Shirakawa vs. Hikaru Shida.
* Will Ospreay vs. Mark Davis.
* Samoa Joe vs. TBA.
* We’ll hear from Darby Allin.
As always, 411 has live coverage of tonight’s show, which you can check out here.
