Tatum Paxley Retains Women’s North American Title Over Blake Monroe In Casket Match On WWE NXT

Tatum Paxley is still your NXT Women’s North American Champion, defeating Blake Monroe in a Casket Match to retain the title at on this week’s episode of WWE NXT. Tuesday night’s show, which was week two of NXT Revenge, saw Paxley put her championship up against Monroe in the stipulation match.

The two fought back and forth, and both fell in the casket at the same time at one point with the lid closing. However, officials decided the match would continue. Late in the match, Monroe put Paxley in the casket and closed the lid, but Paxley used the title to keep it from closing. Monroe poured diamonds from a pillow case on the mat and went for a DDT, but Paxley hit the Cemetery Drive as a counter. She then knocked Monroe into the casket and shut the lid to win the match.

You can see highlights from the match below. Paxley’s Women’s North American Championship reign stands at 46 days, having defeated Izzi Dame for the title at NXT Vengeance Day.
