Update On Steve Austin’s WrestleMania 42 Status

WrestleMania 42 is coming up fast, and a new report has an update on Steve Austin’s potential status for the two-night PLE. According to Bodyslam+, sources have indicated that the WWE Hall of Famer is currently scheduled to be backstage at the Grandest Stage of Them All. The report does not state if he will be backstage for just one night or both.

For clarity, there is no word on whether Austin will actually appear on the show or whether he is just set to be backstage at the event. Austin appeared on night two of last year’s WrestleMania 41 and announced the attendance after accidentally crashing his ATV into the guardrail on the way out. He previously confirmed that WWE pitched an appearance for him at WrestleMania 40, but he had schedule conflict and wasn’t able to make it work.

Austin’s presence at the show isn’t completely out of the blue, as he is set for appearances on Saturday and Sunday at WWE World in Las Vegas.

WrestleMania 42 is set to take place on April 18th and 19th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and Netflix internationally. 411 will of course have live coverage of both nights.
