Why Was Shaun Ricker Released from WWE NXT?
August 13, 2014 | Posted by
– The Wrestling Observer reports that recently-released WWE developmental worker Shaun “Slate Randall” Ricker was let go for reasons other than company budget cuts. According to the report, he was cut because of his poor use of social media and an e-mail he sent during his WWE NXT tenure.
The contents of the e-mail were not disclosed in the report, but it apparently was enough to “bury” Ricker in the eyes of the company. In addition, WWE officials were not happy with some posts he made on his Twitter account.
