Writers & Producers For May 22nd Episode of WWE Smackdown

WWE Smackdown took place in Lexington, Kentucky on May 22nd, and a new report has the list of writers and producers for for the show. Fightful Select revealed in its weekly Debunkathon report that the following writers and producers worked on the show, which was internally titled “Gunther Games.”

Writers:

* Eric Watts wrote the Solo Sikoa interview; the MFTs backstage segment; the Miz, Kit Wilson and Fraxiom backstage segment; and the Royce Keys and Damian Priest backstage scene.

* Devyn Prieto and Patrick McAlpine wrote the backstage segment featuring Charlotte Flair, Rhea Ripley, and Alexa Bliss.

* Cristian Scovell and Chad Barbash were listed as the writers for the Nick Aldis, Cody Rhodes, and Sami Zayn segment.

* Sondra Lacey wrote the Nick Aldis and Danhausen segment.

* Cristian Scovell wrote the piece with Zayn and Johnny Gargano.

* Chad Barbash was the writer for the Cody Rhodes backstage segment.

* Devyn Prieto and Patrick McAlpine wrote the piece with Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin.

Producers:

* Jason Jordan produced the in-ring segment with Ripley, Bliss, Flair and Fatal Influence.

* Shawn Daivari produced Talla Tonga vs Shinsuke Nakamura.

* Petey Williams was the producef for Tiffany Stratton vs Lash Legend.

* Kenny Dykstra produced Trick Williams vs Carmelo Hayes and the backstage segment with Hayes and Ricky Saints.

* Jordan produced Charlotte Flair & Rhea Ripley vs Fatal Influence.

* Molly Holly and Jamie Noble produced Damian Priest vs Solo Sikoa.

* Petey Williams produced the Irresistible Forces’ attack to Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton.

* Michael Hayes and Bobby Roode produced Cody Rhodes vs Sami Zayn. Zayn’s apparent heel turn was not on the internal rundown.
