Tehuti Miles Calls Himself the Most Underrated Wrestler in the Industry
Tehuti Miles (Ashante Thee Adonis) says he plans to prove his value on the global stage after leaving WWE. The wrestler recently spoke about his next career chapter during an appearance on the Limpin’ Ain’t Easy podcast.
Miles’ WWE contract was not renewed in August 2025. His final televised match for the brand took place earlier that summer, when he faced Ricky Starks on NXT. Since leaving the company, Miles has focused on building momentum for opportunities beyond the WWE system.
During the interview, he described himself as one of the most overlooked performers in wrestling and said he intends to showcase his abilities in multiple markets. Miles specifically mentioned interest in competing in Japan, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and other international wrestling scenes (via Fightful).
“I’m really excited to start a new chapter. I’m really excited for the ups and downs, the journey. I want to show the world what I can do. I would really love to work in Japan, Mexico, the UK. I want to go out there and show the world that I can go. I want to show that,” he said.
Reports from Fightful Select have also indicated that Miles has been quietly working under contract with All Elite Wrestling. According to those reports, he appeared at Ring of Honor tapings in Jacksonville on March 1, suggesting that his involvement with AEW programming may be developing behind the scenes.
“Just watch what I can do. I know I’m the most underrated talent in professional wrestling. I know I am. I just want to go show it. I don’t know if anybody doubts me, but whoever does doubt me, I’m going to prove them wrong,” he stated.
For now, the focus appears to be on expanding Ashante Thee Adonis’ exposure and proving his versatility across promotions. Whether that momentum leads to a larger role within AEW or other organizations will likely become clearer as his appearances continue.
